"Riffs may be The Charge's bread and butter but they've clearly been stretching their compositional boundaries"

More The Charge More The Charge

Rising above their post-grunge peers, The Charge open Order Of The Owl with an abrasive lump of vitriol in Acid In My Veins.

Riffs may be The Charge's bread and butter but they've clearly been stretching their compositional boundaries as songs like Blue Lips peel off at unexpected tangents. At various points you could close your eyes and swear you were listening to Queens Of The Stone Age, which is testament to their impressive sound but also a caveat that they may need to find that little added spark of individuality.
