"This Belgian outfit’s dark, electro-rock offering is in a similar vein to Marilyn Manson, notably through their nightmarish, over-the-top cabaret aesthetic."

This Belgian outfit's dark, electro-rock offering is in a similar vein to Marilyn Manson, notably through their nightmarish, over-the-top cabaret aesthetic. While LQC showcases a more traditional metal sound (featuring shredding guitars and prophecies of doom), their general use of intense, industrial tones is too jarringly robotic, lacking much in the way of subtlety. In its favour, Colourful Cows effectively executes the sinister mood they're obviously aiming for by conveying a clear sense of impending disaster. It all feels incredibly forced and overly dramatic, however, to an extent where the music suffers.
