"With a new 'Transformers' movie just a year away, they should call Michael Bay quick to get in on the soundtrack."

Don't be fooled by the non-threatening babyfaced-ness of German four-piece Run Liberty Run, their debut album delights in rock cliches as though discovering them for the very first time.

We Are essentially frontloads a young career with a greatest hits album of ten readymade singles full of ridiculously OTT guitar riffs, anthemic vocals and lighters-aloft power ballads. Things come to a hilarious head on Bengal Fires with Eurovision lyrics and teenage rock posturing in unscuffed leather. With a new Transformers movie just a year away, they should call Michael Bay quick to get in on the soundtrack.
