It's hard not to feel trapped by the web of intricate, dim and moody atmospherics that Noire weave in their debut full-length.
That trapped feeling is largely a good one; the deep moments are deeper than on their first EP in 2015 and it's impossible not to be reeled in by Jessica Mincher's less breathy Lana Del Ray pout. That dreamy fuzz does get a bit heavy in Real Cool and Dark Was The Night, but I Saw You At The Store and He's My Baby are the jangly, sunny mid-points that neatly break up the intensity of this reverb-heavy shoegaze release.
