A mixed collection of driftwood and treasure.

It's fitting that Mr Little Jeans named herself after a Wes Anderson character. Not simply because she's an aestheticist too, dabbling in dark bass lines and starry synthesisers on her debut album, but because her music relies on a pure quality also found in the amicable janitor from Rushmore. “Simple is something of a mystery,” the Norwegian sings on the airy opener Rescue Song. However, songs like Runaway and Heaven Sent have strong and direct songwriting. The ethereal Oh Sailor even features the angelic voices of a children's choir. A mixed collection of driftwood and treasure.
