Live Review: 'Move' with us as we listen to Georgia Mae

Electronic production can feel repetitive at times, but with artists like Georgia Mae, it's anything but. Listen to her new single 'Move' here.

After blowing us away earlier this year with her track 'Time With You', Brisbane producer Georgia Mae has released yet another single that will no doubt get stuck in your head as soon as you've finished your first listen.

Georgia Mae released 'Move' only a few days ago and it's already pretty clear that this will be the track that puts her on the musical map. With soft vocals and choppy production, 'Move' has a unique sound that feels like it stretches out of the boundaries of electronic production.

Mae has been producing music for a variety of mediums for many years and her knowledge of the craft is well presented in 'Move'. Her vocals seem to dance around the melody and with each sharp cut and deep drop, 'Move' becomes a bold soundscape that seems to pull you every which way whilst also remaining completely stable.

Electronic production can feel repetitive at times, but when artists like Georgia Mae experiment with sound and allow for thinking outside the general sound sphere, beautiful constructions like 'Move' make us remember what we love about the craft.
