Live Review: BIGSOUND Live: Luca Brasi

Northern exposure rules.

Tassie punk quarter Luca Brasi have been creating a bit of buzz in last couple of days amidst the guitar resurgence and accordingly have pulled a great crowd to their showcase at New Globe Theatre. They seem chuffed that they've had such a great turnout (although judging by their grin-heavy band photos they're easily chuffed, part of their considerable charm).

Their songs are punchy and pack plenty of angst, although there are plenty of hooks and melody amidst the noise. There's plenty of dancing and hair-whipping up the front too, surely the sign of a battle won.
