Gold Coast tech house connoisseur WONGO knows a thing or two about making big beats even bigger. He’s taken on SPANK ROCK’s ‘Assassin’ and completely turned it around into something that’s teeming with life.

It’s flipped from a hip-hop perspective to a techno one, and it’s absolutely huge. The track itself is driven by this fast paced beat that utilises the heavy parts of the kit; bass drum, snare, hi-hat. There’s a strong emphasis on the synthesized bass, and it’s when this bumblebee like synth line comes in that you feel the real impact of this tune.

It’s busy, that’s for sure. Wongo has employed the ‘ASS ASS IN’ portion of the vocals and integrated it with a deeper tone to make for a diverse sounding tune.

However, just as you thought it couldn’t get any faster or bigger, it does.

I’ll leave it to you to interpret it how you will, but Wongo has really worked his magic here.
