Samo Sound Boy releases a new track from his upcoming 'Open/Divine' EP. Acid-house gets another healthy dose of #feels from the eclectic producer.
Once again, from the depths of the internet returns SAMO SOUND BOY, producer-extraordinaire and label head of BODY HIGH records. This time he's unleashed his second tune from his upcoming 'Open/Divine' EP, prepare yourself for an acid-house flashback session.
Drenched from start to end in retro motifs, 'Divine' is built from the ground up strictly with 90s house hardware. 808 & 909 drum machine sounds pad the track with non-stop percussion structures, whilst the unmistakable acid-house TB-303 bass synths filter in and out, giving the track a dripping, fluid texture.

This is SAMO at his best, where acid-nostalgia of warehouse rave parties collides with nu-skool emotional electronic music, a la SHLOHMO or PURPLE in a subtle fashion.
The release of the producers latest track comes coupled with the exciting news that SAMO SOUND BOY will be appearing and performing at SXSW 2014. That's not all... he will be bringing the rest of the BODY HIGH family along with him to join the lineup. JEROME LOL, MYRRYRS, JIM-E STACK, and many more will be performing at SXSW as part of the official BODY HIGH showcase.
