This haunting cover of M83's banging tune creates a sparse, atmospheric soundscape for BECKY JONES' vocals to pirouette in, light as a feather.

JONES, who goes under the moniker SAINT SAVIOUR, has an ethereal voice that floats above minimalist beats and xylophone synths. While delicately lovely, JONES vox on this track do not even approach their potential (but to get an idea, check out 'Reasons').

'Midnight City' is almost unrecognisable here, unless you are very familiar with the original. This soothing, ambient version of M83's anthemic indie-pop gem has a sweet spot in your iTunes library sammiched between COLLARBONES and PURITY RING. Bliss.
