Western Australia's Brayden Sibbald draws inspiration from the sparse landscapes of Iceland to deliver his finest work yet.

Western Australia's Brayden Sibbald has been referred to as one of the west coast's best kept secrets, and it's easy to see why. With a heavenly mix of organic instrumentation, electronic flourishes and a goosebump-inducing voice, Sibbald makes rich, textured indie-pop leaning music that gets into your very bones. Now, with the release of his latest single 'Sparse,' he looks set to not remain a secret for much longer and we're thrilled to be premiering it today.

Taken from a forthcoming EP out June 12th, 'Sparse' is Brayden's finest work yet, with a bold chorus, swelling atmospherics and a richly textured soundscape. It's full of big moments that keep you positively hooked, while this intricate production underpins the song to take it to new heights.

Talking about the track, Brayden said, "I wrote an early version of Sparse on a trip to Iceland in early 2019, where I instantly fell in love with and was heavily inspired to write by the sweeping, epic, empty landscapes. It's a track about feeling like there is nothing going for you but then everything falls into place. We ended up keeping a lot of the parts from the demo I did at home in the final version."
