Anyone who may be put off by the slightly self-righteous implications of naming a show Death Of A Ladies Man can put their qualms to rest, as Joseph Green is anything but self-righteous.

The young comic may not be the most well-known name in the festival, but his face is probably more familiar to you than previously thought. An official face of Subway and with a sizeable modelling portfolio to his name, Green has been busy putting himself out there in plenty of ways. Handsome, charming and possessing the type of voice that audiobook companies have wet dreams about, there's a sense of hope that comedy might be the one thing that Green lacks in his repertoire.

But damn it all if that beautiful bastard isn't a master of that, too. And even through all of his good fortune (something unseen in the material of most comics), Green still remains humble, jovial and open to his audience. Through tales of living next to octogenarians, modelling in New York and having to explain the reality of anal beads to his mother, Green had the audience in the palm of his hand for the whole hour. A glossy and well-rounded show altogether, Green even surprises with his improv abilities during a technical bout. Quite simply, superb.
