Former The Middle East guitarist Jordan Ireland is the latest to go solo, with an album recorded piece by piece over two years. This patchwork approach may be why the album lacks focus in places, but there's plenty of gold to dig such as the delicate reflections of piano and gently reverberating percussion on Saturn Song and the somnolent psychic whispers of Here Come The Melaleuca Girls.
