"Singer-songwriter Ness Quinn's vocals are somehow both fragile and strong."

On the seven-track debut EP from Sydney indie-rock band Hot Spoke, singer-songwriter Ness Quinn's vocals are somehow both fragile and strong, combined with Damian Enemark's driving bass and Seb Bartels' great guitar work to produce a truly unique and nostalgic sound.

Brilliantly produced by Steven Schram (San Cisco, Paul Kelly) Calm Down has a good mix of dynamic tracks like Outlines and the title track, and slower, emotive songs like Trigger Hand and Drive Baby

Calm Down is filled with strong, honest lyrics and catchy hooks.
