"Future Eyes lives up to hefty expectations, and on many fronts, exceeds them"

Brisbane prog-rock five-piece Guards Of May don't skimp on the good stuff for their debut.

Having already gathered a passionate following after some stellar releases and tours with big-name peers it's hardly surprising that Future Eyes lives up to hefty expectations, and on many fronts, exceeds them. Singles Annotata and Arcadia are the album flagships, the latter capitalising on the chuggy, melodic, offbeat sound of their peers (Karnivool, Dead Letter Circus), The Rest Of Them and Numbers following in similar vein with tight lines and kit work, whilst Beacon, Sirens and the title track showcase Richie Harvey's sky-high vocals.
