Live Review: FREE DOWNLOAD: Basenji 'Dawn' (Tomderson Remix)
CANT SAY resident DJ Tomderson has put his production skills to great use on his remix of Basenji's 'Dawn'.
CANT SAY resident DJ TOMDERSON has respectfully taken Basenji's single 'Dawn' and reinterpreted it with his signature Baltimore shuffle.
Originally completed with the help of Sydney's Cosmo's Midnight and Wave Racer, this new version of Basenji's 'Dawn' may as well have been given amphetamines as Tomderson has made a few changes to the overall feel of the track.
By picking up the pace a little, we're shown just what an impact pace can make on the vibe of a song. Sounds that initially came across as somewhat relaxed and blissful in the original have now been replaced by wild energy. This track may be peaking on a variety of levels; in total it truly works.
