It started with a girl but doesn’t it always? I moved to Alabama after serving in the military and fell in love. We were together for four years until we reached a fork on the road. I spent weeks brooding in a half empty apartment. I needed something, anything to occupy my mind. I discovered Flickr and closely followed the lives of several conceptual photographers. A few months later I had saved up enough money to buy my very own camera. It was like falling in love all over again.
