This Saturday Livid Skateboards are taking over BOX6010 Gallery in Perth for the Livid Skate Photo Exhibition, where 14 skateboards produced by Livid will showcase the photography of some Perth's finest surf and skate photographers. The decks will be hung alongside framed original photos and plaques telling the photographer's stories of how each image was captured, showing the images journey from the moment of capture to a finished, handmade skateboard.

Where are you now? What are your immediate surroundings?
Home office, slippers, Mac, window, rain outside, Staffordshire Terrier, coffee.
Please describe a typical day:
There is nothing typical about my days, although they often start with coffee and include being in or near the ocean at some point. Being self employed and working mostly weekends I am fortunate to be able to spend alot of time with my children and family.
What mediums do you use?
For my aerial photography work I am currently using the Solo UAV system from 3DR. My “day job” as a wedding and lifestyle photographer mostly calls for digital tools. I’ll often mix in different items such as glass prisms and tilt lenses to modify the light.
Is there a particular time or place in your life that seems to generate a lot of your ideas?
The area that I currently call home in WA’s south west is a very inspirational place in terms of photography. An abundance of dramatic land and seascapes coupled with the ever changing moods of mother nature is the perfect recipe for aerial and landscape photography.
Who/what inspire you and your work the most?
It’s hard to top the natural beauty of Planet Earth.
What have you been listening to lately and do you listen to music while you work?
Future Islands and Hammock, and YES!
What was the best piece of advice you have ever received?
Salt water fix everything.
