Elk Road is really beginning to blow up. The Perth-based producer initially caught our attention with his airy debut 'Not To Worry', but then showed us that he's more than ready to party on his follow-up 'Lights'. Now, Elk Road has released his third track 'Hanging By A Thread' and it's floored us.
'Hanging By A Thread' finds a nice balance between powerful and tranquil. With a hard beat pounding against warm synths, the track's verses feel like a warm cup of coffee as it rushes down your throat; soothing and energising.
The chorus is another world altogether. The verses almost feel like the preparation for the chorus that bursts with tropical tones. With all of these elements blended together and topped off with the wonderful vocals of Natalie Foster, 'Hanging By A Thread' becomes an infectious and groovy masterpiece.
Elk Road's production is so on point that you almost forget that it's only his third release and if this is what he is releasing now, imagine what's coming!
