"His love interest is compared to most of the beach-related things he's passionate about."

While there are many surfers and musicians, Frankenreiter is one of the few tanned individuals who's been lucky enough to be paid for doing both, albeit not simultaneously.

The Heart is the Californian singer-songwriter's seventh studio album since leaving his Sunchild project behind and finds him dabbling in the usual pleasantries for which contemporary surf music is so often criticised. His love interest is compared to most of the beach-related things he's passionate about, trading in more cliches than one would think possible. This aside, the songs are well produced and guaranteed to keep your feet innocuously tapping.
