Album Review: Deez Nuts - Binge & Purgatory

StarStarStarStar

"Shitloads of fun."

More Deez Nuts Deez Nuts Profile

Lump any label on this band you want, 'nu metal', 'rapcore', whatever, but ultimately the new album from these Melbourne boys is shitloads of fun.

From the Metallica pisstake that is the album title, to the bizarre, pink-coloured cover, to the prestigious guests they have on the record (Jamey Jasta, Scott Vogel), to the songs, production and the general vibe, Binge & Purgatory kicks all manner of ass. The tunes get in, smash you violently around the face for two-to-three minutes and then get the hell back out again.

That's the way this band and their fans love it, and Deez Nuts have knocked it out of the park again.
