With just under two months until he returns to Australian shores, British singer-songwriter Yungblud has announced the cancellation of the rest of his tour dates for the year.
Taking to social media over the weekend, the musician (born Dominic Harrison) reflected on his myriad achievements and accomplishments over the past year, before explaining how a routine series of voice and blood tests “raised some concerns,” with his doctor ordering him to “take a break from touring until the end of the year.”
“It is in my nature to run and run until I run myself to the ground without giving a fuck about anything apart from the music and you guys but this time I've been told I have to take it seriously and I can't fuck around,” he explained.
“I'm so sorry to do this. But reluctantly I have to cancel the shows through the end of the year.”
The affected dates include shows in the US along with performances in Mexico City and other locations across Latin America.

“My heart is broken,” he continued. “I don't want do any lasting damage to myself, we are on a journey that I want to last forever.
“I understand that some of you will be frustrated. I just want you to know that this is so hard for me to do but I promise I will make it up to you.”
Thankfully, the cancelled dates only include those within the 2025 calendar year, and don’t appear to bleed into 2026, when Yungblud is currently scheduled to return to Australia, with massive demand having recently necessitated new shows and venue upgrades.
His forthcoming visit launches in Sydney on January 10th, before visiting Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, and Perth over the next ten days. Tickets to his IDOLS World Tour are on sale now.
In June, Yungblud released his ambitious new album, IDOLS. In an interview with The Music, he described his latest musical venture as “the biggest adventure that I have ever gone down.”
In addition to his new music, Yungblud has made a name for himself among heavy metal fans after superbly and regularly paying tribute to the Prince of Darkness, Ozzy Osbourne.
