US TV show Yo Gabba Gabba!, featuring DJ Lance Rock and his costumed compatriots Muno (red), Foofa (pink), Brobee (green), Toodee (blue) and Plex (yellow), is currently in the country on its live Super Music Friends tour, and though it has already completed the first leg in Perth this past weekend, the show has now confirmed the support acts for the remainder of its Australian sojourn.
In Adelaide, where the show will run this weekend on June 15 and 16 at Thebarton Theatre, DJ Lance and friends will be joined by rising MC Tkay Maidza, whose debut single Brontosaurus has been doing gangbusters for her profile and renown since its release late last year.
For Hobart's show on June 18, which is part of the city's Dark Mofo festival, the Yo Gabba Gabba! gang will feature support from Mykki Blanco, the feminine, "whacked-out hip-hop alter-ego" of US-born-and-bred rapper and performance artist Michael Quattlebaum Jr.

Melbourne's June 21 performance at the Palais Theatre will feature former Magic Dirt leader and staunch vinyl supporter Adalita, who dropped her second solo LP, All Day Venus, late last year and has since released a string of videos on YouTube showcasing a fine selection of the album's tracks.
Sydney-based composer and muso Marcus Whale, the man behind solo project Scissor Lock and who makes up half of two-piece acts Collarbones and Black Vanilla, will be on-deck when Yo Gabba Gabba! rolls through Sydney's Luna Park on June 28 and 29.
Finally, as the tour wraps up at Brisbane's Powerhouse Theatre from July 1-4 as part of the PowerKids Festival, the retro rock sounds of local darlings Little Odessa, Shag Rock and the renamed Cub Sport will form a triumvirate of triumph as each outfit takes its turn bringing the smiles and good vibes to the Yo Gabba Gabba! stage.
