And that's about it, the lousy tease
Beloved parodist/musician "Weird Al" Yankovic has taken to Twitter to wordlessly unveil the release date of his impending fourteenth studio album.
Hours after a pair of tweets informing us of an imminent "big cryptic announcement", Yankovic made good on his promises with a majestic-as-balls teaser photo for the untitled LP that not only dresses the Eat It singer in the kind of regality he absolutely deserves, but also informs us that album #14 will be dropping next month, on July 15.

Yankovic has been painfully coy about details of the album since telling the world of its existence in September last year, with the biggest crumb we've had dropped before today being an earlier tweet in which he mentioned that its mastering process had been completed.

Now that we've got a buy-date, though, expect to see more information coming out of the "Weird Al" camp in the very near future.
Until then, you should honestly just kill time later by reading his Twitter feed, because it is genuinely entertaining. You don't need album details when you've got gold like this:

And here's one more album-related tweet, just to satiate you, for the road:
I've officially finished 11 tracks for my new album. I am now exactly one song away from fulfilling a 32-year-long recording contract.
