16-year-old New Zealander also goes #1 in US

More Lorde Lorde Profile

New Zealand songstress Lorde has made her US television debut on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, performing hit single Royals and album track White Teeth Teens.

The two videos are embedded below and at this stage (touch wood) appear to be streaming fine to Australian IP addresses.

Having exploded onto the international scene with her The Love Club EP, the 16-year-old recently released her debut album Pure Heroine. We're expecting it to go to #1 in Australia later this week.

Today also bring the news that she's jumped to number one on the Billboard 100 chart with Royals, dethroning Miley Cyrus' Wrecking Ball.
