The 67-minute set was packed to the brim with bangers, performing Girls, a James Hype edit of The Prodigy’s Breathe, Eat Your Man (featuring Nelly Furtado), the SidePiece remix of the Gotye and Kimbra classic, Somebody That I Used To Know, Saving Up, Cave (featuring Tove Lo), and many more. You can watch the complete performance below.
Girls is a song Dom Dolla has been recently teasing on social media, and he opened his career-defining set on the Circuit Stage with that song. “I got some new music for you guys tonight,” he said before launching into the epic performance.
Fellow Aussie producer Ninajirachi also made her EDC debut this year, playing on the Kinetic Field stage. She later posted a video to her Instagram expressing her disbelief at the milestone moment, saying, “just opened edc mainstage wtf. i am from kincumber.”
This November, Dom Dolla will tour across Australia, with demand leading to additional shows being announced at Sydney’s Domain, Melbourne’s Flemington Racecourse, and Brisbane’s Riverstage. You can find more tour details here.
2023 was a massive year for the Aussie legend, releasing the Platinum-certified Rhyme Dust single, the Gold-certified Eat Your Man, and Saving Up. Rhyme Dust went on to win Best Dance/Electronic Release at the 2023 ARIA Awards.
