Courtney Barnett has wowed the mainstream US audience with a rocking performance of Before You Gotta Go on late-night TV. 

A veteran of the late-night circuit, Barnett's evocative rendition of the Things Take Time, Take Time track on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Tuesday showcases the growth of Barnett as a broadcast performer. Barnett completely owns the moment, delivering the track with cool confidence and charisma. The projection of a forest behind her, adds additional weight to the song's theme of growth. Things Take Time, Take Time was released in November via Mom + Pop Records, with singles Before You Gotta Go, Rae St and If I Don't Hear From You Tonight and Write A List Of Things To Look Forward To finding a place in the hearts of many fans, including former POTUS Barack Obama who included Write A List Of Things To Look Forward To in his Favourite Music of 2021 list. 

Barnett's work on Things Take Time, Take Time also earned the musician several award nominations including at the upcoming AIR Awards where Things Take Time, Take Time is in contention for Best Independent Rock Album or EP and the most coveted of AIR awards, Independent Album of The Year. 

Barnett will appear on the upcoming landmark shows by Nick Cave and Warren Ellis at Hanging Rock in Victoria, this November.
