Violent SohoFollowing last week's announcement that Heather Shannon of The Jezabels is undergoing cancer treatment and the band would cancel all upcoming tour dates, Violent Soho have stepped up to the plate to fill the Sydney band's spot on Mountain Sounds Festival.
Picking up the very respectable #15 spot for Like Soda on yesterday's triple j Hottest 100 countdown, the band will be joining Holy Holy, Cut Snake, Albert Hammond Jr, Alpine and more on the line-up.
The band will also be donating all proceeds from the festival's merch sales to Ovarian Cancer Australia — Mountain Sounds will also have a donations system in place for all punters.
Mountain Sounds Festival is just under a month away at Mount Penang Parklands in Kariong.
