The lads will launch the new beer with a series of parties in mid-October
Beloved Queensland rockers Violent Soho have joined the ever-growing list of Aussie bands to warrant their own beer, joining forces with the good people at Stone & Wood Brewing to create a collaborative brew: the East Coast Crusher.
Following in the footsteps of the likes of AC/DC, Frenzal Rhomb, You Am I, and even events such as Mojo Burning festival and Oz Comic-Con, Soho — as "probably the world's biggest fans of Stone & Wood Brewing" — are (at last) the proud-as-punch namesake for the new brand of cold one, and will be celebrating its arrival with a series of launch parties held around the country on Thursday 13 October, just before they hit the road on their massive upcoming tour with The Bronx and Luca Brasi.
"This day has been a long time coming but it's now with the biggest smiles ever that we can properly announce our very own collaborative beer 'East Coast Crusher'," the band enthused on social media. "Check it out!!!! It's the new greatest beer ever!!!!
"To celebrate this massive result we are throwing parties all across Australia … so you can try it before the official release. The first 50 people to present their ticket receipt for the Oct/Nov tour at the bar get to have their first taste on us!!!"
