For years, diehard viewers have pined for the chance to be able to play these games for real and their wish has finally come true.

According to Acclaim, a game developer by the name of 'Gumpyfunction' has taken the matter into his own hands and created three games featured in The Simpsons that can be played for free online.

Kevin Costner's Waterworld, Larry The Looter and Escape From Grandma's House can now be played at your leisure — click on the game titles to try them out.

The game developer revealed on a blog posted to Reddit that he has spent two years creating the online games: "I put up my trilogy of fictional Simpsons games on gamejolt and would love for you guys to have a go.
