"I'm eager to finally showcase what we've been achieving overseas in our own backyard."
Newcastle’s Vacations are currently enjoying a wealth of success across the globe.
The Aussie outfit, who have just returned home from a debut tour of America that saw them sell over 14,000 tickets, have revealed their single Young has been certified Gold in the US, Canada and Poland. Taken from the group's 2016 debut EP Vibes, Young has also racked up more than 500 million streams to date.
Vacations' popularity in the States saw multiple shows added and venue upgrades in the lead up to their recent 32-date tour as well as rave reviews from both critics and fans alike as they made their way across the country.
Last year, Vacations found themselves at the centre of another huge TikTok trend and even caught the attention of pop superstar Lizzo. Young was at the centre of TikTok's 'Knock' trend which saw users tap their camera along to the start of the track and then step back to reveal something.
The news of their recent global success coincides with the announcement of the band’s first Australian capital city headline shows in over three years, taking place in July.
