Horn-inducing news
New Orleans funk fusionists Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue are set to play two Bluesfest sideshows in the new year.
Shorty, now a regular visitor to our shores, has been gigging since the age of six but found wide fame in recent years having been showcased on HBO's New Orleans cult musical drama Treme.
Back in Australia for Bluesfest 2015, Shorty & Orleans Avenue will also play a couple of headline gigs: Factory Theatre, Sydney — Wednesday 1 April; and The Corner, Melbourne — Monday 6 April.
Tickets for both shows go on sale 9am, Monday 13 October.
