With entries for the annual WAM Song Of The Year competition closing today, a handful of new judges have been added to the ranks, including triple j’s Nick Findlay.
A frequent Perth visitor, appearing regularly at WAMFest, Findlay will is joined by other new judges Andrew Pring (Fremantle Blues & Roots Club/Artist), Libby Carmody (Tjuma Pulka Aboriginal Media) and Zaeren Momand (Avenoir Magazine), all working alongside previously announced talent Jacob Snell (Monster Management), Janelle Morse (Morse Code PR), theMusic.com.au’s own Daniel Cribb and more.
Entries for all 16 categories are strictly due by 11.59pm tonight (Thursday, 16 February), with a prize pool of over $40,000 in total and free studio recording time up for grabs.
