The Preatures, Vance Joy, Matt Corby also rated by bookies
Voting for Australia's most famous music poll, triple j's Hottest 100, has opened today with bookies backing in our artist of the year, Lorde, for the win.
Voting is open for just one month, with the countdown happening on Australia Day. Lorde's Royals is the obvious pick for this year, but local triple j regulars The Preatures, Vance Joy and Matt Corby are also in with a sniff and mainstream cross-overs Lana Del Rey, Robin Thicke and Daft Punk are also potential top-fivers.
Earlier today we released the ten best songs of 2013, as decided by The Music's writers poll from our stable of over 100 scribes, with Daft Punk's Get Lucky taking out the top spot, while Arcade Fire, Courtney Barnett, Nick Cave and The Smith Street Band were also represented.
Betting company Sportsbet regularly run novelty markets and they've again jumped on the Hottest 100. Lorde's Royals is paying just 1.33 for the win, with our number one Get Lucky next at 3.50. See the top ten odds below:
