Make sure you get some hard rock in you today with our premiere fo the debut single from Brisbane's FuzzPilot - 'Suppression'.
The band's six-minute stomping, riff heavy offering will be officially out tomorrow (that's Friday, July 15th, for those who haven't checked the calendar app on their phones just yet) but we're giving you an early stream of the new single today.
The trio behind FuzzPilot is Shaun Trainer (vocals and guitar), Cat Andrews (bass), and Jeff van Dyck (drums). Trainer said that the band's first single is a darker cut from what the group usually does and that this song really is the "essence of the band"
“’Suppression’ comes from a slightly darker place than we would usually look. It really delves into the depths of depression, and the struggle of understanding it, shedding light on the strength to overcome inner demons. The track also evolved from a very natural place. Jeff (drums) and I create a base from a free flowing and cathartic process, Cat puts down some killer runs, and then Jeff goes through some fine tuning and adds the finishing touches. From that, I think “Suppression” is a very sincere essence of the band.”
FuzzPilot has been honing their heavy rock sound since their inception in 2012 and hopefully, all of the group's hard work and the care that's been taken as they tighten up their craft will pay off for them. But that all comes down to you listening to the trio, so go click play and enjoy the fuzz.
