Tina Arena is back in a big way. After teasing the emergence of new music over the last few weeks, the Australian music icon has unveiled the powerful first single, House, from her upcoming album, Love Saves.
Love Saves is Arena’s first album in eight years. On House, Arena’s phenomenal vocals are anchored by booming drums, complimentary bass and electric guitars, and keyboards.
House contains Tina Arena’s signature passionate vocals and was written with Swedish powerhouse Mattias Lindblom, Bachelor Girl's Tania Doko and Austrian producer Michael Zlanabitnig.
Love Saves represents a re-birth - a musical journey of Tina’s life during the pandemic, a renaissance of sorts. As well as House, Arena has also released Dan Sur La Glace today – the French version of Dancing On Thin Ice, which she previously performed on a national tour in 2021. The English version will also be released soon.
“Like many of us, I retreated inwards during the pandemic. I found solace in music,” Arena revealed in a statement. “I processed my feelings the only way I know how – through my art. From rock bottom, I ran the gauntlet of human emotion. I faced my own demons, emerging the other side transformed, triumphant, renewed and at peace. Remember, be brave, be vulnerable and love saves!”
Love Saves will be released on Friday, 14 July, and serves as Tina’s seventh all-English studio album, her first album of original material in almost eight years, and her most personal album to date.

House follows Arena’s 2021 single, Church, which was Arena’s first song in five years. Church showcased her unmistakable voice and was recorded with Duran Duran’s Andy Taylor on guitar and Mattias Lindblom in the producer’s seat.
Last weekend, Arena was revealed to be the Carnivorous Plant on The Masked Singer France.
She made it all the way to the semi-final of The Masked Singer France, and as one does when they’re eliminated from the show, the Carnivorous Plant was unmasked to reveal Tina Arena.
On the semi-final, she performed The Wind Will Carry Us by Sophie Hunger. While there is no video on YouTube yet and we can’t watch the performance on the French TF1 website, knowing Arena’s vocals, we’re sure she smashed it.
Arena dropped the news on social media. Sharing a few photos from The Masked Singer France, including her unmasking, she wrote, “Surprise!! What a pleasure to be on the Masked Singer France!”
