Yesterday (22 May), Tina Arena shared the stunning artwork for her new release, House, which is coming this Friday, 26 May.

The official teaser image follows a short clip posted to social media last week, where the Aussie music icon revealed the name of her upcoming new single.

“I promised exciting news and here it is...new music is coming next week and you know I like a challenge so can you guess the title of the track . First one to get it right will get something special. Swipe to see the hint & keep your eyes peeled for the reveal,” she wrote last week, sharing an image of a Scrabble board game with just the letter S on the board.

A day later (18 May), Arena made the “big reveal” – House is her new single “and I get to share with the world next Friday. It’s the beginning of a brand new chapter.”

The teaser video for House utilises impressive drum work, an entrancing guitar line and a choir vocal before Arena’s iconic voice comes in: “I do what I want/Love and good will,” she sings. A new Tina Arena track in 2023 is exactly what we need.

House follows Arena’s 2021 single, Church, which was Arena’s first song in five years. Church showcased her unmistakable voice and was recorded with Duran Duran’s Andy Taylor on guitar and Swedish powerhouse Mattias Lindblom in the producer’s seat.

On the weekend (20 May), we shared the news that Arena was featured as the Carnivorous Plant on The Masked Singer France.

She made it all the way to the semi-final of The Masked Singer France, and as one does when they’re eliminated from the show, the Carnivorous Plant was unmasked to reveal Tina Arena.

On the semi-final, she performed The Wind Will Carry Us by Sophie Hunger. While there is no video on YouTube yet and we can’t watch the performance on the French TF1 website, knowing Arena’s vocals, we’re sure she smashed it.

Arena dropped the news on social media. Sharing a few photos from The Masked Singer France, including her unmasking, she wrote, “Surprise!! What a pleasure to be on the Masked Singer France!”
