Tina Arena Joins Forces With Shouse For 'Chains' Remix
Tina Arena has re-recorded her vocals on 'Chains' for a new rendition of the classic with Australian dance duo SHOUSE.

This November marks the 30th anniversary of Tina Arena’s iconic third album, Don’t Ask, with the first single, Chains, turning 30 next Thursday (29 August).
In a thrilling collaboration, Arena has re-recorded her vocals on Chains for a new rendition of the classic with Australian dance duo SHOUSE, and you can listen to it now.
Chains peaked at #4 on the ARIA Singles Chart upon its release. Its impact has been felt by generations, with Jessica Mauboy, The Veronicas, and Matt Corby just some of the names putting their own magic on the power ballad. With the new version of Chains, Tina Arena’s music might just make it to a new generation’s ears.
Arena said of the collaboration, “Revisiting Chains with SHOUSE has been an incredible journey. Their fresh approach has given the song a new dimension while staying true to the essence that made it special in the first place. I’m thrilled for fans old and new to experience this new chapter of Chains.”

Tina Arena is celebrating the 30th anniversary of Don’t Ask with the Don’t Ask… Again tour. Initially a one-off date with Richard Marx and other special guests at the Mornington Racecourse, new November and December dates have been added in South Australia, Queensland, and New South Wales due to demand.
The shows, starring Richard Marx, Daryl Braithwaite, Kate Ceberano, Southern Sons, and 1927, go on sale to the general public on Monday, 26 August, at 10 am AEST. If you can’t wait until then, pre-sale tickets will be available from 10 am today.
