Tim Sweeney, The Egyptian Lover & More Set To Close Out Shimmerlands 2017

As Shimmerlands' packed 2017 program draws to a close, organisers Shadow Electric, Crown Ruler and A Touch Of Frost have announced the line-up for this weekend's closing day-party, kicking off from 3pm this Sunday, 26 February.

Gracing the stage and blessing punters' ears will be the eclectic and electric stylings of Tim Sweeney (Beats In Space), LA DJ and musician The Egyptian Lover, Brian Shimkovitz of rarities specialists Awesome Tapes From Africa and Melbourne's own Andee Frost.

Collectively, the acts are all set to send off this year's Shimmerlands celebrations — which, if you've been asleep for the past eight weeks, have entailed everything from outdoor concerts and open-air cinema to outdoor bars and al fresco dining — in fittingly decadent style.

The closing shindig will be held at the Shimmerlands Outdoor Auditorium, University of Melbourne. Second and final release tickets are on sale now.
