The 2027 edition of Dreamstate Festival is already shaping up to be a big one, with organisers locking in a massive international headliner.
Announced today, Dreamstate have confirmed that Dutch producer Tiësto will be exclusively topping the bill for both editions of the festival, performing two-hour trance sets at the event.
No stranger to Australian stages, Dreamstate will mark Tiësto's first visit to local shores since 2023's Palm Tree Music Festival.
A veteran of the electronic music scene, his work music traverses all varieties of the genre, attracting stadium shows, Grammys, and more. Before all of that though, he was a staple of the trance genre, with these upcoming festival sets seeing him return to the brand of electronica that kicked it all off for him in the early ‘90s.
The 2027 edition of Dreamstate Festival will take place in early February, with Sydney Showgrounds launching proceedings on February 6th, and Flemington Racecourse hosting the Melbourne edition one day later on February 7th.
The full line-up for Dreamstate Festival is expected to arrive in the coming weeks. Pre-sale tickets go on sale from 12pm AEST on Thursday, June 18th, with a general on-sale commencing 24 hours later on Friday, June 19th.
Having first originated in the US, Dreamstate swiftly became globally-recognised as one of the leading trance festival brands.
