Introducing A Day For The Beaches.

Sydney's getting a brand new festival and it's got a stacked line-up thanks for local acts Ocean Alley

A Day For The Beaches is happening in the Sydney suburb of Narrabeen, located on the Northern Beaches, on 16 November.

Headliners Ocean Alley have curated the festival's inaugural line-up with Dear Seattle, Eagle Eye Jones, Stumps, Liquid Time, The Brights, Monkey Knife Fight and BUTTERBOX all due to perform.

The event will raise funds for Cerebral Palsy Alliance (CPA) and local charity One Eighty, which works to empower communities "to make meaningful contributions towards the prevention of youth suicide".

"We are excited to be partnering with Ocean Alley and are humbled to have their support," said One Eight chairperson Samantha Callender.

"With their help we hope that we can inspire young people all over the country to educate themselves about mental health; to not only feel like they can reach out for help when they need it, but to also know where to find help; and additionally to feel equipped with the knowledge and skills to support their friends."

Tickets for the festival are on sale now, head to theGuide for all the info.
