29 August 2014 | 1:26 pm | Staff Writer

One more opportunity for Victorian die-hards

More The War On Drugs More The War On Drugs

A day after additional sideshows were added to The War On Drugs' impending Aussie sojourn as part of their involvement with the tech-cursed Meredith Music Festival, the band has announced yet another extra appearance, taking total scheduled performances in Melbourne up to three.

The venerated alt country/indie folk outfit will grace 170 Russell once more, on Tuesday, December 16, in addition to the previously booked appearance there on December 8 and The Hi-Fi's planned gig on December 11 before they take to Meredith on December 12 to perform alongside the likes of Ty Segall, De La Soul, The Skatalites, Mark Lanegan, Sleep, Augie March and James Holden.

For a full rundown of Meredith-related news and sideshows, check our dedicated event page or search the Gig Guide or The Music App by your preferred artist.
