The Strokes To Release New Album In March

The New York indie rock superstars are back again.

More The Strokes The Strokes

Get ready for some more action from The Strokes, as the band have today announced that they will be releasing a new album this year.

The band have worked a lot faster to get this album out – there were five years between First Impressions of Earth (2006) and Angels (2011) – as Comedown Machine is set for release Friday 22 March through Sony Music, however it is already available for pre-order on their official website today.

The guys have made their track One Way Trigger available through their website as well, or you can check it out here. With a sound extremely reminiscent of the work Julian Casablancas put out on his own in 2009, it will be very interesting to see how this track is received and how it compare to the rest of the album.

The first single to be released from the album will be All The Time, stay tuned for more announcements about its release.
