More The Prodigy More The Prodigy

Just weeks after mysterious posters advertising The Prodigy’s old-school logo started appearing in Sydney and Melbourne, the English metal-meets-rave group have finally announced their long-awaited return to Australia.

Taking over Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion, Brisbane’s Riverstage, and Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena, The Prodigy will play in Australia in mid-February 2025 on their Disrupta tour.

The three Australian shows mark the band’s return to Australia five years after Keith Flint, the group’s vocalist and dancer, passed away. His fellow “Godfathers of Rave,” Maxim and Liam Howlett, started playing shows again in 2022, paying tribute to Flint during the iconic Firestarter.

The Prodigy remain one of the most successful electronic groups of all time, selling an estimated 25 million records worldwide and scoring seven consecutive #1 albums in the UK.

In a live review of the band’s show at Perth’s RAC Arena in January 2019, The Music’s Mark Beresford wrote, “Firmly holding a middle finger to anyone labelling them a nostalgia act, the group proved their explosive energy remains as fierce and fresh as ever.”

Beresford later remarked, “The Prodigy proved why they’re still one of the greatest live acts going around.”

Last June, The Prodigy revealed that they would continue to “ignite, uplift, and destroy,” just as they did before Keith Flint's passing.

Confirming that they would go on after playing their first shows following Flint’s passing (those shows took place in July 2022), the band embarked on their Army Of The Ants tour.
