Knife Party, I Know Leopard, The Occupants and more...
The next crop of tracks to be added to triple j have been revealed today, with Pendulum spin-off duo Knife Party receiving the Feature Album honour.
Spending their time across the UK and Australia, Abandon Ship is the band’s debut album. It gets next week’s Feature Album nod ahead of the new Foo Fighters disc Sonic Highways, which lands an album packet (a number of the tracks will be added).
Elsewhere Sydney’s I Know Leopard has been plucked from the triple j Unearthed ranks to receive full rotation for their track Perfect Picture. The self-managed band are fronted by Luke O’Loughlin, who also fronts New Navy.
Hindsight, the new track from The Occupants (who features members of Cog), is added, as is Is It A Banger? From Brisbane electronic duo Odd Mob. Recent Dot Dash signing Melbourne’s Pearls are the other local act to receive full rotation with Big Shot.
