The Melbourne-based glam-poppers have a new single to celebrate the deal

Melburnian glam-pop luminaries Pearls have become the latest artists to sign with renowned label Dot Dash/Remote Control Records, coming on board just in time to see a worldwide release for their debut studio full-length, Pretend You're Mine, in February next year.

The signing sees Pearls join an Australian label roster that includes compatriots such as Courtney Barnett, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Client Liaison, Saskwatch, Klo, Velociraptor and Sunbeam Sound Machine.

To celebrate the deal, Pearls are punctually releasing inaugural single Big Shot, which you can listen to in all its glory right here.

If that's not enough Pearls for your tastes, you'll be pleased to know they're backing up the single release with a home-town launch show, hitting Hugs & Kisses on Saturday, November 29, with support from Terrible Truths, Empat Lima, DJ Geoffrey O'Connor and Liege Jansen. They may only have been knocking about as a band for three years or so, but in that time they've supported the likes of Kurt Vile, Marnie Stern, Sons & Daughters and a who's who of local favourites including Crime And City Solution, Total Control and New War.
