The Living End Reveal 2026 Regional Tour Dates

“Our gig philosophy is pretty simple: blow the fricken doors off! See you at the show,” Chris Cheney said.

Fresh off the announcement of their impending induction into the ARIA Hall of Fame, Aussie rock icons The Living End are hitting the road this August.

This time around, the White Noise rockers are hitting regional spots across the East Coast. The tour begins at the Sunshine Coast’s Venue 114 on Friday, 31 July, and continues in Newcastle, Hobart, Ballarat, Cairns, Townsville, Mackay, Thirroul, and concludes at Canberra’s UC Refectory on Saturday, 22 August. The dates follow a sold-out, busy tour in metropolitan locations last year.

Frontman Chris Cheney said of the forthcoming shows, “The hunger we had when The Living End first began still drives our energy on stage every time we play. The songs from our latest album ‘I Only Trust Rock n Roll’ hit as hard as any of our older songs. Our gig philosophy is pretty simple: blow the fricken doors off! See you at the show.”

The Living End are touring in support of their latest album, I Only Trust Rock n Roll, their first album in eight years, released last September. While fans will be hearing new tracks, they’ll also get to sing along to classics such as White Noise, Roll On, Who’s Gonna Save Us, All Torn Down, Second Solution, Prisoner of Society and more.

Upon announcing their new album last July, Cheney said, “We did not want to make a big, over-the-top record with a hundred parts. We’ve made those records. This one had to sound like a slick machine. Trim the fat. Yeah, there are those harmonies and extra guitar bits. But a big part of the writing was knowing what a song didn’t need.”

On Thursday, 11 June, The Living End will be inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame during a Special Event held at Sydney’s Carriageworks. They’re this year’s inductees alongside Kate Ceberano, Gurrumul, Vika & Linda, Jenny Morris, and Spiderbait.
