The Living End & Area-7 To Play Melbourne Benefit Concert

More The Living End The Living End

The Living End have today announced that they'll be playing a one-off benefit concert in Melbourne, with local ska icons Area-7 supporting.

Taking place at The Croxton on Saturday 28 October, all proceeds from the benefit will go to the Wild 2 Free Animal Sanctuary, a shelter run by The Living End's manager, Rae Harvey. All money raised will be put towards replacing a house that was destroyed by a fire on the property last year.

“Rae Harvey has managed TLE for 20 years and aside from being a great manager and friend, she's also been incredibly passionate about the wellbeing and protection of animals," says The Living End's Chris Cheney.

"When her dream of opening up an animal shelter literally went up in flames a year ago naturally we wanted to help. The funds from this gig will go directly towards setting up Wild 2 Free.”

Tickets are on sale now, find out more at TheGuide.
