It’s finally happening. After The Kid LAROI told fans that he’d release his debut album last year and officially announced the record title, The First Time, in January, we finally have a release date: Friday, 10 November.

The Kid LAROI took to social media to announce his new album, The First Time, with a 30-second video teaser in January. In it, he spoke softly over a bunch of artsy VHS recorded clips, outlining several ‘first times’ - “You never forget the first time… the first time you fall in love… the first time you get caught… the first time you feel shame… the first real kiss.”

Two and a half years have passed since the Gamilaraay man dropped his last project, but he hasn’t exactly been quiet.

The Kid LAROI’s debut mixtape, the ground-breaking F*ck Love, shot to #1 in Australia, Canada, Norway and the US, debuting in the Top 10 in another six countries, with Stay (featuring Justin Bieber) (from the F*ck Love 3: Over You deluxe edition) dominating the charts.

Recent tracks like Thousand Miles, Love Again, and last week’s Too Much (featuring BTS star Jungkook and Central Cee) have kept The Kid LAROI firmly in the spotlight. After years of waiting, his most devoted fans will finally experience his debut album.

Properly kicking off the exciting era, The Kid LAROI will launch the new album with the new single What Just Happened, out tomorrow. You can watch the official album trailer below.
