As beloved Swedish rockers The Hives ready themselves for their long-awaited return to Australian shores, the incendiary outfit have added a second and final Melbourne show to their upcoming trek.
Launching their forthcoming world tour in Fremantle on July 17th, The Hives will be visiting Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane in the following days, bringing their ferocious live experience to local audiences for the first time since 2015.
At the time of their announcement, the band made the status of the forthcoming shows very clear, noting: “The Hives are the best. You have been warned, these shows will sell fast… don’t miss them!”
Indeed, the response to the tour has now necessitated the addition of a second and final Melbourne show to their itinerary, with the band set to perform on Saturday, July 19th and now Sunday, July 20th at the Forum in Melbourne.
Tickets for the band’s upcoming tour are on sale to the general public from 12 pm local time on Thursday, April 10th, while their additional Melbourne date is also accessible via the 24-hour Frontier Members presale, which runs until 12pm on Wednesday, April 9th.
News of the world tour was accompanied by word that The Hives would be releasing their seventh album, The Hives Forever Forever The Hives on August 29th, with lead single Enough Is Enough giving fans a taste of what to expect.
